Japanese Vending Machine in Vladivostok

I lived in Los Angeles and New York for 20 years but I had never seen a juice vending machine in outside.  Maybe American vending machines in inside the building.  I had never seen Japanese vending machines in the U.S. 

In Japan, there are many vending machines all over the place.  Yes, real cash inside and these are in outside!  

During recent visit, I found many Japanese vending machines in Vladivostok.  Yes, in outside!  Does this mean that Vladivostok is safer place than Los Angeles???

Vending machine and Juice cans are 100% made in Japan.  I was surprised to see that engineers somehow tweaked a cash changing system from Yen to Rub.
